Pros and cons of living alone

Living with family is always very comfortable and pleased as we are with the loved ones that are there with us from our childhood. We are ourselves with them. They are the ones who will treat us like king or queen. All of our wishes will be granted. On the other hand living alone has its own advantages and disadvantages. It’s a paradise for the ones who always wish to be alone. It can be as enjoyable as one can dream of. People who love peace, freedom and independence can enjoy living alone.
As it says good things also come with some negative aspects. Living alone also has certain good and bad points. But it will always depend upon the situation and our way of handling things. There are many people who want to spend most of their time alone as compared to others. The people who have always lived in joint families or with bundle of people, long for living alone.
The college or the young people, the financially independent earners or people who just want to go for self-expression are the one who live alone.

The pros:

The place where you stay will always be as per how u want to keep it be it clean, organized, dirt free or dirty.
U can always make your favorite food without thinking about others’ choices. If you do not like cooking, you can go out and eat at your own convenience.
You can anytime announce party with lots of friends, alcohol and music without fear of anyone to stop you. You need not worry even about cleaning the place after the party.
You are your own boss. You are in charge of everything. There is no one to give orders or suggestions like waking up in the morning, coming home on time or sleeping early.
You can make your own time table to do the whole household work and even if you want you can make it a mess if you like it that way.
The whole place will be quiet and peaceful so you can actually concentrate on your work or can even spend it doing all the extra curricular activities to express yourself.
You can have the furniture, color of the walls and other items of your own choice. You don’t have to make it look good and comfortable as per the family requirement.

The cons:

If you are the one who like socializing then living alone may not be a good option. You always have to find people to talk with.
If you meet up with certain emergency, there is no one to take care of you. You have to manage it yourself until someone from friend or family arrives.
When you are in charge of everything, you are the only one who has the whole burden of paying all the installments as it will be solely your responsibilities.
In times of financial crisis, there is no one you can depend upon for financial aids.
When you are tired of working so hard at your work place, you only have to do cooking for yourself.
There are times when you will need an emotional support but living alone will actually make you realize that you need someone to share your life.
After all the pros and cons, it is very clear that it’s not an easy game to live alone. It will still differ from person to person and situations. If you are living alone and feel the need for someone to be with, you can call up your friends or hang out with them. Living alone can find new opportunities for learning new things in life like cooking, dusting or laundering. You can cherish the own time to enjoy being you.

Modern life and absence of quality time

We have heard many people saying that they have no time or time is running so fast. Have we ever thought why this kind of situation arises where we lack time to even meet our regular routine? The hours are the same, the work is same and the people are also same. Then what is that reason that we have absence of quality time in our life. Previously we all used to work be it at workplace, home or any other activities. But in recent times the whole thing has taken a new phase. Our so called modern life has actually become life with full of work without time for our families and friends. No doubt we work but then we forget our other responsibility.

People have started working for longer hours just to get overtime or bonuses just to increase a pinch to their earning but they forget that they are missing the time that will be priceless to their life. They have become earning oriented and have disregarded the fact that they even should spend some time with the loved one. Modern life has affected people so badly that they run after money, career and all materialistic pleasure and leisure. They work for 12 or more hours a day. They work at home even and on holidays too. After coming home also, they have to do household, cook meal, cleaning and other works. They do not even know where the day passes without letting them realized even. People in the modern world have become so mechanical that they do not even know whether they are leading their lives or lives are leading them?
But it is not a fault of life or the modernization. Instead modernization has made our lives much easier with new developed and successful technologies. So it should have in fact helped us in saving time for ourselves and for our family than to make our lives busier and timeless. But it has worked the other way round. With the increasing modernization we have become more careless about the true values of life. We have stopped enjoying beautiful moments of life and we have forgotten to thank our life for giving us such a wonderful journey.

Quality time is not all about time for family but it includes all the activities that one can do or spend in their free time. All the activities and enjoyment one can do if he or she is left with surplus time. One can sleep, watches TV, read or write, play with kids, spend time with family or hang out with friends in their free time. These all are the time that when actually occurred becomes a quality time for the people to be remembered throughout their life. But what to do if one can only see the dreams but can not achieve it.

If we are the reasons, we only have to become the solutions for any problem. Time is so precious that if ones wasted is wasted for ever. It is the commodity that we should spend wisely to optimize it to the fullest extent. So it is necessary to save time in our routine, modern and busy life.

We can start by making a proper plan for everyday. All the tasks and jobs to be performed at work, at home or anywhere else. We can make a list of all and can assign timing for each one of them. So that we can know if we have any extra time in our hand or not. But in this too, we may face certain problems like any one of the activity may take more time than the assigned one. There may come unexpected events that may lead to a delay in the plan. But then also it will never happen so frequently that we can not work upon this solution.

We can do even multitasking i.e. we can do two activities or more than that at a same time like ironing along with watching TV or cooking along with teaching kids. We can even increase our time by sleeping for only required hours or for not wasting it in daydreaming or in making plans. By doing so we will not only be able to spend quality time with our loved ones but also we will be actually adding lifelong memories to our whole life. God has given us a life to enjoy. Life is worth living so we should make our best to enjoy the gift of god to the fullest.

Should Giving Tips or tipping be mandatory or voluntary

The concept of tipping is very clear and simple. A tip is the money that is paid to the servers who serve the customers in some service industries. It is the additional money that the waiters or the waitresses get in addition to their normal wages for performing their job in a better manner. The money to be given as tip is generally calculated as some percentage of the actual amount of service that servers have rendered to the customers. It is also called as gratuity.

The waiters or waitresses anticipate that the customers will be happy and satisfied and show their appreciation in the form of tip. Previously it was never seen as a compulsion on the part of customers to give tip to the service providers. It was just given as bonus money for the job better performed by the waiters or waitresses.

But recently the trend has changed. The money that was given initially for a better performed job now is given to waiters as a mandatory thing. The waiters now expect the tip even though they do not provide them satisfactory services as sometimes it do happens that the servers has to depend mainly on the tipping money as the main source of earnings. The owners believe that the customers will give tip to the waiters so they only pay them the minimum. So the waiters will look for having more money from customers as tip. They feel that they have all the legal right to ask for tip.

When we talk of mandatory tipping, it has many troubles associated with it. The restaurants have become very expensive in terms of their food and services. It is very difficult on the part of customers to pay in addition to the services and taxes. If it is that compulsory to give tip, the waiters will forget the real meaning and concept behind tipping and will never concentrate on performing in a better way to get tip money from customers. Even the customers will have to pay to the waiters even though they are not served well or even in a normal and expected way. The owners also do not feel responsible to pay the normal and minimum wages to the waiters thinking they are getting enough from customers in the form of tip.So it will be injustice on the part of customers as well as employees if tipping is mandatory.

Tipping should be rather voluntary. Tipping is way of appreciation for improved quality service. It should always be given when employees perform their job in an extra ordinary way. The job should never be done with the hope of getting extra money but for serving customers in an effective way. The owners should always pay wages to the employees not relying on the expectations of sharing the wages with the customers. It should never made compulsory but it should be out of the will of a person to actually appreciate services. Tipping should be optional as it provides motivation to the employees to perform better and quality services so as to get better tip. Though tipping be optional, the customers should always show their appreciation for the services rendered to them by giving tip.

Hair Care : Love your hair and nourish them

Hair is the beauty of any person's personality. It does not matter how gorgeous you are, you should never ignore your hair. You should always take care of it. No matter what type of hair you are born with, there are certain things you can do to keep it healthy, silky and shiny to keep it looking its best. Good hair care contains simple steps like shampooing and drying, hair conditioning, brushing and combing, dandruff, split ends, hair dyes, treating baldness, and hair loss treatment and some other methods.

Hair is without doubt an important and essential part of his or her manifestation. Healthy, good-looking hair adds to an individual’s good looks without any question, just as damaged hair takes away from them. Damages to the hair are in the form of cracking, chipping, roughening or even wearing off of this layer. We can start hair care from home or we can go even out for taking up the treatment from experts. With right care and treatment you can bring back its liveliness and polished shine. Hair is the crown of the human body so hair care is very important.

If you are suffering from damaged hair, here are the tips for making it charming again.

· Keep your head dirt free. Don't overlook the hygiene of head.
· Use good quality shampoos and conditioners for hale and hearty looking hairs. Nutritious shampoos are the best choice because hairlessness is caused due to insufficient nutrition.
· If you are suffering from the Dandruff-the most common problem, without delay get rid of it by applying good and appropriate hair oils.
· Brush your hair before shampooing to abolish the tangles.
· Brushing is less damaging than combing but a long brushing can also damage the hair.
· Always use a good comb if you feel more comfortable in combing. A good comb can be categorized as a comb which have rounded and soft teeth.
· Nylon brushes with pointed ends also break the hair.
· Back combing is also harmful for the hair. It causes knotting which is not easy to extricate.

· Long-lasting beauty, healthy hair begins within your body. Start with your diet. Take in lots of green leafy vegetables and juicy fruits. Fresh coconut is also considered excellent "hair food" – sprinkle grated coconut over salads, diced fresh fruit, or rice. Dairy products such as milk and fresh yogurt will also help

· Cooking with certain spices adds zest to your food and provides nourishment for your hair. Turmeric, black pepper and cumin are some hair-friendly spices. Sauté 1/8 –1/4 teaspoon each of the three spices in a teaspoon of ghee (clarified butter) or olive oil and add to cooked veggies. Roasted ground black pepper and cumin can be sprinkled over fresh yogurt.

· Cut back on polished, canned and processed foods. Foods with non-natural preservatives and chemical additives uncovered of their inherent intelligence and therefore do not supply nutrition to your body and mind. Ice-cold beverages also slow down the process of combination and absorption of nutrients.

· A warm oil scalp massages two or three times a week will help arouse and humidify the scalp. You can use good quality almond, olive or coconut oil. Apply some gently warmed oil to your hair and gently massage into your scalp evenly with your fingertips. Leave on overnight if you can, if not, leave on for at least an hour or two and then get it out by shampooing your hair. The scalp massage helps you lighten up and aids sound sleep as well.

· Stay away from ruthless chemical contemporary products that can damage hair over time. Look for natural cleansers and mild conditioners, especially if you wash your hair more than three times a week. Shampoos and conditioners that contain nourishing botanicals are even better. Read labels carefully – sometimes, products that say herbal or natural can include no-no chemicals.

· Never brush your wet hair; no matter how hurried you are for time. Tangles in wet hair can be removed best with a wide-toothed comb. Try to use a wooden comb if you can find one; it would not produce static electricity. Too much blow-drying also can damage hair in the long-standing, making it easily broken and causing split ends. If you can, let your hair dry naturally, then brush you hair.

· Last, but not least, Stress can be seriously ruinous to long term health and color of hair. Make an effort and administer your time and tasks to minimize time-related pressures. Perform relaxation techniques such as meditation. Seek out peaceful and relaxing places of interest in nature to help bring back balance to your mind. Get ample, good quality sleep to help the natural process of up gradation.
Your hair can undeniably be your crowning magnificence if you take care of it right in a right and proper way. You just need to be calm and patient to get back to your normal, silky, shiny, healthy and undamaged hair.

How food or diet nurtures human organs

A sliced Carrot looks like an eye of human. The iris, radiating lines and pupil look just like the human eye. Science has shown carrots helps greatly in enhancing blood flow to eyes and make function of the eyes in a better way.

Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

A Tomato is red and has four chambers. The heart also has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure food for a healthy heart. Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).
Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

How to overcome or cope up with loss of a loved one

When coping with a death, you may go through all different kinds of feelings and emotions. You may be worried, sad or scared. You might be unprepared, confused or just shocked. Your emotions might be stronger or deeper than usual or in ways you've never experienced before. It is a part of life which none of us can ignore. We've all experienced at one point or another.

Whether it's the loss of a family member, a friend, a co worker, or a pet, all deserve their share of grief - and the majority of us are willing to give it. It's never good to lose a loved one.
When we have physical, emotional and spiritual reactions in response to a death or loss, it's known as grief or grieving. People who are grieving might:Have strong emotions, such as anger and sadness

Have physical reactions, such as lack of sleep or even waves of nausea
Have spiritual reactions - for example, some people feel disappointed in their religion while others find that they feel more strongly than ever about their faith and find themselves questioning their beliefs.

But grief is not all about the life. You can not stop living because of it. You have to move on in your life. You just can't be sad the whole life remembering what you have lost. Even your loved one will never want you to stop enjoying. It's hard to let your loved one go out of your memory but it's never impossible. You have to learn living accepting this fact. Once you mentally accept the fact, your mind and body will automatically try itself coming out of the pain.

Here are the activities that you can do to come out of:

§ Get back to your normal life as early as possible. As this will not only help in getting over the painful memories but will also let you come back to your normal household and office work. Though there is a loss of a loved one, we should never ignore our daily responsibilities.
§ Spending time with friends, talking about the wonderful time spent with them, even going out on a small picnic or just hanging out with old friends will be of great help to overcome with the sorrow.
§ Counseling will also be good option for those who actually need expert’s advice and can not get over with it by themselves.
§ Travelling to places you have always dream of is also a nice strategy to come out the feeling of having lost a loved one. You can go to new destinations, some tracking camps or a river side.
§ Learning new things like painting, crafting or any other knowledgeable activity will not only involve you with it but will also provide you new information and knowledge.
§ Physical activity like walking, jogging, swimming or any other games that can keep you release your tension physically and mentally. Even meditation is of great help.

It is in our hand to come out of this grief. We all have the strength to overcome with the grief. It is just that we have to find out our strength. Whatever happens happens for the good and it is already decided by almighty. So we just have to accept the fact and live with it wholeheartedly.

Can love for children become an obstacle for life partner?

Love is passionate and deep and will drive you to do crazy things for each other. But loving a person, actually knowing all their faults, having sought out and being fully aware of everything that makes up their inner person, knowing the good and the bad, and still choosing to be with them – that's love. That's what you must have in order to experience the feeling of being one.

There was a girl, whom I have met and gotten to know intimately, and after a quantity of time have realized that I feel a very peculiar way when I am around her, or talking to her, or otherwise thinking about her. I have no clear explanation for what constitutes this feeling, I only know that it seems to be as unique and indescribable as other people have called “being in-love”. So, I must concede – I was in love. I consider myself an insanely lucky man to have found the woman I did, she fits me beautifully, and I feel that we were soul mates. Finally we took our love to the finest destination ever and we got married.

Life after marriage was full of new emotions, experiences, love, respect and responsibilities. I felt really comfortable with the shared life I had with my wife. There were definitely some shared roles and responsibilities like washing clothes, vacuuming and mobbing the floor and washing dishes after every meal. I also learned about respect and communication. We learned to speak and express ourselves. We did our best to share what our thoughts and feelings were. What I meant when I say respect is in the sense respect that she was also having her individual space and I used to respect her commitment and adjustments that she has made to be with me. Communication in the sense we shared with each other our thoughts, problems and challenges so we could better understand each other and learn to cope together. When we shared our life, we become closer too. However, along with sharing a life comes this AMAZING realization – you are sharing a life, you are ONE person, only together are you whole, and though you may not have been aware of it before, you are only a half – and like a puzzle, when together, the other part brings twice as much depth and meaning to both of you.

But after children, the bond not only became stronger but it was shared too. Emotions, love, responsibilities and care were shared with the children. The time that I used to spend solely with my wife was now shared with my kids. I used to be more with the kids than to help my wife in household stuff. The communication and sharing had become less as compared to before. So I thought my wife had a bit of insecurity and feeling that I may have forgotten my first love and was caring for kids more than her. There have been instances where my wife had complained that I every time think about kids and their likings but have forgotten her wish n likings. Now the free time and weekends have become a picnic or hobby classes for kids. Previously I used to bring my wife small gifts on every salary day but then it was changed to toys and books for the kids. This made my wife a bit depressed as we hardly spent time alone like one before children. I had never felt that my love for children has reduce my love and feelings for my wife who has given me the most wonderful gift I have ever received in my life-my children. So one day when kids were not there, we decided to sit and talk to solve this problem.

Finally then we mutually decide how to not let anyone of us feel neglected or insecure by putting the kids in the first place. I understood her worries and wishes to be with me the same way as like before. We decided to spend at least1 full day without kids just like we used to do before. I realized my ignorance for her and promised her never to repeat this ignorant mistake ever. Now we both are very happy as along with being with the kids, we spare valuable time with each other. For future too, with increasing level of work pressure and responsibilities for kids, we see the same level of feelings and love for each other. You should always balance life between kids and your wife so as she will never feel less loved or being cared of or neglected in your ignorance.
